Mag, French, awkward human. Sushis, champagne and Chair are my weakness. Florence Welch is my darling.
Ooh and I hate Ryan Gosling. I try to banish him from my life but failling miserably.
Each one of these scenes, and there are many more prove that they have the most faith/hope/belief in one another than anyone else. They give one another strength to believe in themselves, thus believing they can achieve great success in life.
In some of these scenes they’re not even together, they are two individuals who know each other better than they know their own selves. Love qualities in the other person, that they might be afraid of accepting and loving. Chuck loves Blair, and Blair loves Chuck for who they are, they don’t expect the other person to be anything other than who they are and they don’t want them to be.
I think it’s really telling to see how they contributed to who these two characters are today. Chuck gave Blair strength to believe in herself, particularly in first half season 3. And Blair’s love changed Chuck immensely, hence opening his heart to love and feelings. When he’s at his lowest point giving him the strength to carry on as her love has kept him alive.
